I have a alot issues that I need some help with, So I started my playstation 3 running rebug 4.82,
Firstly tried to launch COD:BO2(disc) and I get a 80022D11 registration of the trophy information could not be completed. the game will quit error, it does this on COD:MW3(disc) aswell and my Fifa 18(backup) is stuck on checking for trophies screen, Any game with the Checking for trophies prompt at start hangs on the checking trophies screen, the game runs in the background but the checking for thropies stays at 0% and the screen doesnt go away,

Secondly there is the error where when i try to update the CFW I get error 80029c78,

thirdly I can't boot into FMS because it says it can not read the EPROM,

When I try to boot into recovery mode I get The a serious error has occured message

I have been told that this means that the VRTM of the flash is corrupted, I tried the solutions online such as RSOD FIX Pkg. etc. but it does not do anything
I can not install another FW because it also gives errors
Any Help or advice will be apreicated

Things I have Tried
Rebuilding Database(via debug tools and recovery mode)
Restoring FileSystem(via debug tools and recovery mode)
RSOD Pkg Fix
Restarting the ps3
Tried installing Update via RecoveryMode(gives serious error occured message)
Tried Deleting Trophy Information from HDD
Rebuilding DataBase

Yes I have tried That, Nothing seems to fix this, I Think one of my ps3 flash chips might be broken/corrupted etc........I can't downgrade CFW basically stuck like that

I can't acess FMS
And get an error message when i try to upgrade/downgrade

no, the CELL is married is married to the SYSCON iirc, and the flash holds the per console keys and info to actually boot up the CELL. if you are going to repair this yourself (not recommended if you don't have the right equipment or experience) you need to dump the nor using an E3 flasher or a teensy and a pc, desolder the nor, place a new one on the board and then write the flash back to the new nor. RSOD will still happen for the first couple of times you boot the console but RSOD fix pkg/cfw settings should take care of it as the new nor is not physically damaged

Damn it, Thanks for the help, I am just gonna keep the system like that until it finally dies, all the quotes I recieve for repair is more expensive than a second hand system

Hey dude, I was doing a bit of research, And I was thinking of an issue. What if the Data on the NOR is corrupt and not the NOR itself, Meaning the data I dump from the NOR's is corrupted and will that then not corrupt the new NOR?

you need to change the nor chip
but first you need do is rsod fix pkg
second after you did rsod fix you need also do an backup of nor and after that check the nor backup if have same errors before you
applied rsod fix.
And finally change the chip
