This is my fathers old ps3, i dont know much about exact details, but im pretty sure it doesnt have custom firmware, but it had an tantalum attempt (at the nec/tokin side there were cables conecting to capacitors, but i removed them). After that i cleaned the ps3 and soldered the syscon conectors for troubleshooting.
One more thing, i was wondering if anybody has the dia-002 diagram and a way to test nec/tokins and cpu related SMD's.
