PS3 / CFW EBOOT Trouble

Hi guys I'm posting this in the hopes I can get some help, I'm trying to use a EBOOT for BO2 as well as MW3 but it seems like any EBOOTS I transfer across dont work

I also tried to install a patch on MW2 just to be safe to see if the EBOOTS were bad but that didn't work either, it seems like any mod I install doesn't actually work.

I'm currently on REBUG 4.82.2 D-REX and I've made sure the game regions matched up as well as tried multiple different EBOOTS for the games, nothing will work at all. Anybody got any advice or opinions on what it could be? Be greatly appreciated as I'm at a complete stand still thank you!

If the games work ok with their original EBBOT, and then if modded EBOOTs do not work the issue is most likely with the EBOOT, not with anything else.

Solution is to not use modded EBOOTs.

Side Note: Cheating in COD games or using modded EBOOTS online is a sure way to get your console banned from PSN quickly.

usually, if the eboot is bad, you'll get an error at start up. I don't usually use cheats (never have on the ps3), but I used a cheat once on the 360 in the form of a trainer with duke nukem forever to have all weapons. it worked, but the game was so terrible that I deleted it. lol
