PS3 DOSbox configuration files

For some time now, I have been messing around with DOSbox's keymapper function. I have gotten a number of games to have most, if not all keyboard functions mapped to the controller in Joystick mode. This greatly enhances game play, especially with flight sims and their myriad of controls.

Here is a list of the games I have done. Some are well-known, others not so much. All of these are playable in PS3 DOSbox, though some will require changing graphic level detail to get to a playable speed. If anyone is interested in some old-school PC gaming, I would be happy to share what I've done.

A-10 Tank Killer 1.5
Aces of the Pacific/Aces Over Europe
AVB8 Harrier Assault/Super VGA Harrier
Battlehawks 1942
Black Knight: Marine Strike Fighter
Chuck Yeager's Air Combat
Comanche: Maximum Overkill
Falcon 3.0
Fleet Defender: The F-14 Tomcat Simulation
Formula 1 Grand Prix/World Circuit
Gunship 2000
Harrier Jumpjet
Heroes of the 357th
Hornet: Naval Strike Fighter
Indianapolis 500: The Simulation
IndyCar Racing
IndyCar Racing 2
Jetfighter 2
LHX Attack Chopper
MiG-29 Fulcrum/MiG-29 Super Fulcrum/G-Force: A Strategic Flight Simulation
NASCAR Racing
Red Baron
Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe
Star Wars Dark Forces
Star Wars TIE Fighter
Star Wars X-Wing
Su-25 Stormovik
Their Finest Hour: The Battle of Britain

Wow! Playing Comanche: Maximum Overkill, Gunship 2000, etc on a PS3 with DOSBox???
That is too cool! Comanche, especially, looks like a PS1 game.

I'd like to get the tank version of Comanche, Armored Fist, working on a console but I don't know how to map mouse functions onto a controller. AF requires a mouse.

From what I can tell this game allows keyboard, mouse, and joystick control all at once. In PS3Dosbox you can switch between Mouse mode (mouse+a few keyboard keys mapped to the controller) or Joystick mode (joystick+many keys mapped to the controller by using the CTRL+F1 keymapper). This is how I managed to get all of these games playable.

Unfortunately, in my short testing of this particular game, it has a choppy framerate even on the lowest detail settings.

Standalone port can be found here - https://www.brewology.com/downloads/download.php?id=13361&mcid=4

RetroArch also has Dosbox cores, but I like the standalone better.

Are you using the floppy version or ISO? Floppy works fine for me.
