PS3 Dump Checker fails 1 of 138 checks every time?

Have a PS3(CECH-25xx datecode:0C (JSD-001 or JTP-001)) slim that was originally on 4.78. After dumping the nand it would fail on 1 check every time.

013.03 CELL_EXTNOR_AREA 0x00 Filled Area 1

Tried to update it to ofw 4.81 to see if it would fix the nand issue. Attempted update via usb but PS3 would say 'no applicable updates are found.'

Updated via internet to ofw 4.81 just fine though.

Dumped nand again and still failed on that 1 check.

Patched nand anyway and flashed back. Tried to patch rebug 4.80.1 syscon to 4.81 with 'PS3 PUP Syscon Changer.exe' and flash it but it fails on 'copying the update' and gives a 80029c55 error code.

Not sure what it could be. If you can help I would appreciate it. Thank you for your time and have a good one.
 
Your model is a nor model ps3,
the fact that the ps3 turned back on after flashing means it is not beyond repair,
I recomend patching the original dump with dumpstatistic, using rogero 4.46 ros and e3 flasher ticked,
then flash the patched dump to the console,
That error I have seen appear with some fake e3 flashers so may not be anything to worry about,
however I would advise installing rogero downgrader after flashing,
then toggle qa,
then 3.55 cfw or ofw,
then go back up to any version,
There's a video on my you tube channel that shows/explains this method,
alternatively install a 4.81 cfw then toggle qa there, then install a lower cfw from safe mode,

80029CAA is target id mismatch. Which could be the same problem. Like trying to install CEX Firmware while target id is DEX or vice versa.

Look at system info in rebug toolbox. If it says CEX than use REX. If it says DEX use D-REX.

Don't mess with changing syscon version, and rebug when downgrading using flasher. Use some cex 4.81 firmware, then go to rebug.
 
Thanks guys. Was able to get Ferox 481 on it after using dumpstatistic and patching for Rogero 466 as Bobby suggested.

Again, I appreciate the help.
 
Don't worry about dump fails 1 of 138. That means your console was on CFW before but updated to OFW. But u can patch ur dump with 4.50 auto patch. And install any CFW 4.8 direct. Am doing downgrade ps3 in my country. I've seen this fail 1of 138. What am doing is what i told u.


Try u check ur dump with 4.50 dump checker u will not see failed 1 of 138.

4.50 dump checker will tell u DUMP IS OK

do you use rebug first then install 481cex. and how do you flash rebug?
