Not sure what I'm looking at, did the console update?

Ah. Sorry. It's HD sentinel program I. Windows showing the HDD status. It says it was running 13 days alltogethet, and been start/stop 271 times.
I friend called that his repasted webman modded ps fats fan is running at max. The temps are fine and it says in webman that the fan is around 35%. It's been used for 3-4 months, and no pressure mod was applied ( haven't heard about this super thing back then)
Do you guys have any idea?
If he sets the fan speed manual, it still loud he says. Thank you

So for it to update its the correct blu-ray drive. So if you can't get it to work then you can perform a drive remarry.

So what's the temps, is it the CPU or the GPU that's getting hot? It's normally the CPU and a pressure mod will sort that out.

For this it looks like this.
I don't know much about the other one which I mentioned above.
That other one needs more attention, then this one.
Why it does run at 100%. I'm worrying.

Okay, so has the thermal paste been changed? If not I would do that and apply naked snakes CPU pressure mod.

Now I have tested liquid metal under the heat spreader and if applied correctly will reduce the RSX temps further, I wouldn't bother on the CPU as the risk of damage is high and the pressure mod does as good of a job.

If he doesn't want to completely take the console apart then you can just apply the pressure as you only need to access the top side of the board.

If I'm doing the mod I'll do that Correctly for him. And change all the pads around the whole console to 2mm thick ones. Everywhere. :)
How is the liquid metal works ? Is it lowered the temps further? I'll do a delid on his GPU tho.

Lol, memory slot lids are extremely rare as they break off easy. I keep these for the ones I sell as I do custom paint jobs. (See pics)

I can look for a blu-ray and check it works for you. You would just need to pay for the postage

Yes liquid metal does take another 4 degrees off the console, also taking the shell off the PSU also knocks another 1 degree off the temps. (See pic).

You will need to protect the small resistors with heat tape or clear laquar. (Clear nail polish works also)

Thank you. No lid? =) No worries.
Oh, really? Thank you ! Lovely <3
Can you send me your details ? I used wise earlier. Is that okay for you too? Where are you located?

Liquid metal is really working, look at this GLOD recovered console. Along with the pressure mod it also has the tantalum caps piggybacked on, along with the liquid metal under the RSX heat spreader.

Over two hours on TLOU and on 32 percent fan speed the temps are insane (see pic)

Because yours isn't a problem with the CPU substrate. You need to put the console under load to give it a good test.

You need to set the minimum fan speed to 33 percent. This means it will run at 32 percent and go to 33 and above if the console goes above 68 degrees
