PS3HEN Ps3 freezes after closing game

so when I boot up my game if its either from web man or multiman the game works fine but when It comes to closing it I go to the in game XMB and press on close game when I do that the game closes, yes but it puts me in this blue menu with all my games on it (no its not multiman) but everything is frozen i can't use my controller so then i have to force close my ps3 which is really bad for hard drive so what should I do to fix this

instead of pressing PS button, try holding it down and selecting quit.
