Maybe because something is missing...im going to test cobra now brb
The plugins you have are related to webMAN MOD, according to what I searched.

multiMAN, webMAN MOD, IrisMAN, Rebug Toolbox and xai_plugin uses a modified version of openps3ftp, I don't know if it casues issues
Can you try this sprx to see if it works fine? You need to put it in /dev_hdd0/plugins and add this line in /dev_hdd0/boot_plugins.txt: /dev_hdd0/plugins/openps3ftp.sprx
https://github.com/jjolano/openps3ftp/releases/download/v4.3a/openps3ftp.sprx
EDIT: More versions of it to see if any of them works
Remember to add the name of sprx in /dev_hdd0/boot_plugins.txt
boot_plugins.txt file belongs to webman.
That thing causes cobraftp to never disconect even it says disconnected. That is causing me lots of problems
Webman installed with cobraftp = freeze and crash system
Without webman everything works perfect

Xai_plugin uses openps3ftp_ntfs.sprx meanwhile you are using openps3ftp.sprx without NTFS support, so I think the issue maybe is caused by NTFS and that is what I wanted to know. DON'T ENABLE/DISABLE xai_plugin's FTP server, do not use it anymore, and keep using openps3ftp.sprx from boot,do not use webMAN MOD, IrisMAN or multiMAN either to check if it is working fineSo, I had to create the boot_plugins.txt file in "/dev_hdd0" since I didn't even have it, added the "/dev_hdd0/plugins/openps3ftp.sprx" line to it and transferred the openps3ftp.sprx plugin to "/dev_hdd0/plugins". I rebooted the PS3 and the FTP is working from boot without even having to click "Enable FTP" in "Cobra Tools", and if I click it, it's stated "FTP is already enabled.". It even works when playing games unlike IRISMAN's FTP server. The PS3 isn't freezing too. I guess I don't even have to test the other 3 plugins you mentioned since this one worked right away. How can I know Cobra's FTP IP address? It looks like it's the same as IRISMAN's.
May I keep using IRISMAN to transfer files via FTP or will I have any conflict between its FTP server and Cobra's from now on? Also, Cobra's FTP server is slower than IRISMAN's.
EDIT 2: If I use IRISMAN, the speed is slower than usual so maybe it's using Cobra's FTP server and not IRISMAN's.
EDIT 3: Spoke too soon. If I disable Cobra's FTP and enable it, the PS3 still freezes.

You don't need anything else, if it don't crashes anymore I think we found the problem
xai_plugin's FTP server is in dev_flash, named ftp.sprx (which is openps3ftp_ntfs.sprx but renamed), when you use "Enable/Disable FTP" option it will load ftp.sprx and not plugins in /dev_hdd0/pluginsLike I stated, I only have issues with all the four downloaded plugins when clicking "Disable FTP" and I thought by xai_plugin's FTP server you actually meant the openps3ftp.sprx plugin (or one of the other 3 downloaded plugins) Where is xai_plugin located, then (since it isn't in "dev_hdd0/plugins" in my case)?
The problem is, shouldn't I have that openps3ftp.sprx plugin (or another one) after installing Evilnat as well as the boot_plugins.txt file instead of having to download the former and create the latter?
Anyway, like I also stated, I want to use IRISMAN because its FTP server is faster than openps3ftp.sprx's and if I run IRISMAN while having the openps3ftp.sprx plugin, it uses the latter's FTP server which is slower than IRISMAN's.
xai_plugin's FTP server is in dev_flash, named ftp.sprx (which is openps3ftp_ntfs.sprx but renamed), when you use "Enable/Disable FTP" option it will load ftp.sprx and not plugins in /dev_hdd0/plugins
You don't need to use "Enable/Disable FTP" to be able to use openps3ftp.sprx, if it is in "/dev_hdd0/plugins" and boot_plugins.txt has the line "dev_hdd0/plugins/openps3ftp.sprx" it will be loaded everytime the PS3 is booted and Cobra is enabled
If you want to use only IrisMAN FTP server remove "/dev_hdd0/plugins/openps3ftp.sprx" and its line in "/dev_hdd0/boot_plugins.txt" (dev_hdd0/plugins/openps3ftp.sprx), reboot the PS3, don't use xai_plugin's FTP and load IrisMAN, now you can use FTP server

Tip: IRISMAN and webMAN MOD allow to change the default port 21 to 22 or 2121.
That configuration avoids port conflicts and let you run multiple FTP servers (only needed for tests).
On IRISMAN press SQUARE to the FTP option to change the port.
Maybe it is because NTFS, we need to know if openps3ftp.sprx (it doesn't have NTFS support) freezes or not the PS3 after continued use, xai_plugin we already know that freezes it (it has NTFS support) so don't use it anymore, I will try to fix itThanks, that's precisely what I'll do, but I still don't get why after clicking "Enable FTP" with an external HDD attached to the PS3, the latter freezes, why didn't I have the boot_plugins.txt file, why am I having the slow FTP transfer issue and why am I having the slow XMB return from IRISMAN problem.

If your external HDD has a NTFS partition try connecting another HDD/USB that does not have NTFS or exFAT
boot_plugins.txt is created when you use webMAN MOD installer for example, there are some homebrew that create it, this file is not created at any time by Cobra
Because xai_plugin uses openps3ftp_ntfs.sprx and has NTFS support. So are you sure that openps3ftp_ntfs.sprx (loaded with boot_plugins.txt) is working fine after continued use? If so, maybe the problem may be in the way xai_plugin loads the fileWhat about the slow FTP transfer speed and the slow XMB return from IRISMAN issues?
If you think the freezing issue after clicking "Enable FTP" is caused by an external HDD's NTFS partition, then why are you stating to use the downloaded openps3ftp.sprx plugin and not the downloaded openps3ftp_ntfs.sprx one? Also, don't forget if I click "Disable FTP" the PS3 freezes and to use IRISMAN's FTP server instead of Cobra's I'd have to change IRISMAN's port like aldostools stated.
If the ftp.sprx plugin is actually the openps3ftp_ntfs.sprx one renamed then why is clicking "Enable FTP" making the PS3 to freeze unlike the downloaded openps3ftp_ntfs.sprx plugin?
Then I was right unlike the other user about webMAN MOD creating that file and not the CFW.

About the slow FTP transfer can be some factors, HDD, internet connection, the FTP server itself, PC...
If it is working for you maybe the issue is in xai_plugin in the way the plugin is loadedBut I suppose the downloaded openps3ftp_ntfs.sprx has NTFS support too, hence its name. Yes, the downloaded one (loaded with boot_plugins.txt) isn't freezing the PS3.
But I didn't have this issue before all this mess and what about the slow return to XMB when exiting IRISMAN problem which I also didn't have?
If it is working for you maybe the issue is in xai_plugin in the way the plugin is loaded
To see what might be causing that slowness you have to discard things until the cause of the error is found:
You need to try all possible combinations and check which of all is causing the issue
- Disable Cobra and use IrisMAN
- Use option 3 and 4 in recovery menu and use IrisMAN
- Load IrisMAN and exit as soon as you load it without enabling FTP
- Load IrisMAN, enable FTP and exit
- Disconnect the external HDD, load IrisMAN and exit
- Disconnect the external HDD, load IrisMAN, FTP server and exit
- ...
EDIT: Working in a new version of xai_plugin to fix this issue
Please can you try if this PKG works now? I have tested it with old and new FTP server, old crashes randomly and the new one does not freezeSince I deleted the downloaded plugin and I don't even click on "Enable FTP" since it freezes the PS3 and since I want to use IRISMAN's FTP server anyway, I don't even need to click on "Disable FTP". I already used those 2 options and I guess having an external HDD connected to the PS3 doesn't have to do with the slow transfer issue and maybe with the slow return to XMB when exiting IRISMAN problem too. I didn't have these problems before with an external HDD connected to the PS3 and after exiting IRISMAN after using its FTP server to transfer big files. Also, to know if I have the slow transfer issue, not all files apply, especially small ones which are transferred in an instant. I even reinstalled Evilnat, FileZilla and IRISMAN multiple times, I only bought this HDD August 2021 and I've been using the same PC.
EDIT: If IRISMAN, multiMAN, etc., use the same FTP plugin, then why don't they offer the same FTP transfer speed? Also, how can one now the PS3's IP address after clicking "Enable FTP" if nothing shows up on the screen and why some times FileZilla doesn't connect to the PS2, PS3 and PS Vita/PS TV but after closing it and running it again, it does?
