PS3 HDD upgrade problem

Hello there i use a super slim model PS3 500 gb running on HEN i need to upgrade to 1TB. Can someone tell me what happens if i plug my PS3 HDD to my laptop? Will i be able to copy the games on my 500gb hdd to my laptop?
Any other advice is very helpful

You can't do that with HEN. Use FTP, ideally with an ethernet cable and a PC or USB on the PS3 to copy the files off the drive while it's in the PS3.

if you plug into windows and click yes, it will format.

if you plug into windows and click no, nothing happens.

ftp or usb...thats your answer.
