iirc, using launch.elf is also how to add cheats to ps2 games.

I have Retroarch packed with a SNES game, tried to convert the PKG with etHANol tool ( ps3xploit_rifgen_edatresign.exe ) , i got a game_signed.pkg , installed it , tried enabling HAN or Debug but i still get error 80010007 .

if you are using ps3 retroarch, HAN can not run it (you need HEN).

HAN exploit was never designed to run unsigned applications including homebrews. It is merely exists to run signed applications from various means eg. CFW2OFW hack especially.

You have to go for HEN exploit or CFW exploit if you have a compatible model for that.

HAN was useful when t here was other hack to SuperSlim and nonCFW models.
Prior to HEN.

The reason for HAN was to give SuperSlim user's the ability to run the included emulators in the firmware (PS1 / PS2 / PSP )

Now HAN is obsolete and has been replaced with the much more capable HEN
