PS3 PS3 Nightmare - Changed Console ID With No Backup

I wanted to change my console id to go on psn, but I didn't make a backup of my original id. One problem I had, since I changed the console id after I had some game saves, I can't access them, even I convert them. Should I just factory default my console? And how do I do so?

If You spoof it, remove spoof. If You change permanently, then You lost original permanently.

factory reset will not change it back. it should be possible to get the saves working, but i do not remember how.

@bucanero is the console id recorded inside a ps3 save file or only account id?

Not sure what you call 'console id', but if you mean idps you can check EID5 which contains a copy, but you cannot copy over eid5 to eid0 as they are encrypted with different keys.

if you mean openpsid, if you are lucky your vtrm information could contain the old one.

IIRC, PSID is stored on PARAM.SFO , but that's not the IDPS . As @Berion said, console-id / IDPS is used for hashing but is not stored in the save data.
