PS3 - Petitboot - OherOS InvalidOption -- 8

Hi Guys,
I wanted to install linux on my PS3 Slim (CEX)
Followed every step as in https://www.psx-place.com/threads/t...bon-linux-on-rebug-4-81-2-4-84-1-d-rex.16419/ is described. However after rebooting to Petitboot I cant run the create_hdd_region.sh script. It runs into a error: ps3stor_region option invalid -- 8 error as also seen on the screenshot. I tried to chmod it but it responds with "only-read-mode" on the file dir. Also I tried another USB Flash drive and I have even copied the file to the PS3 it self, where it actually can be chmoded but it ends up listing the same error msg. I would be very happy for your response.

Could You attached here this single file?

I have no experience with Linux above 3.55 on other console than CECHL04 but every Slims have the same partitions mappings as my NOR FAT so this error alone is quite confusing for me (so it is good idea to just read what he trying to do in script what end with this error).

i wouldn't bother installing to HDD. you have to format the ps3 at some point to get the hdd partitions resized.

i recommend either installing to usb or using a "live" disc.
