PS3 PS3 PRO MOD Release/Information Thread

v3.8 Progress so far

Since i'm without TV for a couple of days, i started to mess with things that doesnt need a lot of tests.


So today i use my vita with remote play to mess around.


So the progress are

- Added New Music Online Player based on @DeViL303 PodCast Enabler in All Languages inside the Rco.
- Added New Video Online Player based on @DeViL303 PodCast Enabler in All Languages inside the Rco.
- Added Screen Saver by @DeViL303 from Advanced Power Options in All Languages inside the Rco.
- Added: Some Videos by @Niander466 [WIP] in the Video Online Player.
- Improved: Translation in some Languages, Please Report Any Wrong Translation.
- Improved: PS4 Font from PS4 OFW 5.05 Converted by @Danxx444


The Progress Bar and Keyboard will have to wait for my TV to Arrive.
@Louay may have some progress in the keyboard i think,


To do:

PSVita's Music, Photo and Video Menu Backgrounds

i just need BETTER XMB Icons Styles for the categories, if anyone with skills or even @DeViL303 that has amazing skills and wants to release the variantions since it is based of his work, will be very apreciated and they works very well, Films can be found everywhere just need to copy its url and they play withou any issues :)
i'm exited to see it like the HEN toolbox mods around the web, with a lot of music and videos.



And what do you think guys about adding a background in the VIDEO/MUSIC/PHOTO menu like ps vita and psp?

What's its that, a WALKMAN icon? Now that's a icon i haven't seen in years [emoji23]

I always knew Sony loved using the Walkman icon for anything Music related, even the Old Xperia used WALKMAN as they're Music Player, after the 5.0 update, they discarded the Walkman altogether, now its just the same icon as the PS3, but never knew about it on the PS3, the more you know [emoji23][emoji848]

@LuanTeles ... how about updating some PS3 icons? ... well if you want, I'm leaving here a little program that extracts the PS4 rco's files + a link for you to download rco's, all thanks to @ DeViL303 ( thanks a lot man), it is very easy to use, just drag the rco on top of the program and it starts extracting. It has many cool and very good images to use on PS3, with a great resolution that will make the PS3 look more modern ... many of them have the same design as PS3 ... but white and with a better resolution. Your mod will look even cooler with these images. Some rco's images will come out with the format "dds", this may not be a problem if you know how to convert them to png .... well, I hope you enjoy.

Now you'll have to change all them again(if you wanna of course)...but this time, with the real PS4 icons...will be better than those ones.

Okay so .. but have a lot of images..you can swap non-transparent PS3 icons with PS4 icons ... with music player icons, triangle, square, X and ball buttons that appear in the menu, icons of the trophies ... the browser icons too ... has a rco that has the PS4 browser icons ... anyway..you can change a lot of good things without losing the transparency of the icons..of an updated XMB.

Following the previous changes

- Added: Manga Reader translated to all languages, you can now read your favorite mangas without leaving the XMB.
- Added: Online TV Player ( Currently disabled, because no time to create the xmls for it)
- Improved: All custom icons now are storaged inside the RCO for faster loading times, instead of flash0/.../explore/icon


I need someone to maintain the XMLs uptodate (Films, Music and Online Tv Channels).

Hi this looks interesting and I really want to try it out,but I have a CECHA01 with NAND,I don't know if this is compatible,also I would like to know if I can revert back to the original XMB and how to do that in case I want to.

I'm about to release by today/tomorrow

Yeap , all models are compatible, the installer itself has a uninstaller =)
 
@LuanTeles ... here is another idea for your mod ... adding the buttons in the bottom browser bar ... would be cool ... but I imagine it takes a lot of work to do this. If you are interested in adding these buttons in the browser, use the buttons on PS4..it will be very good.
