PS3 PS3 PRO MOD Release/Information Thread

reinstall the firmware. I don't know if a font ttf file could have that sort of effect. however, depending on the file size, the font can look bigger or smaller. I'm not sure about if a font is corrupted though. I've never had that problem. the recovery menu uses its own font, so it shouldn't be affected if that's what's happened.

yes, I did just that. I installed the system and my ps3 came back to life.
but I still can't install ps3 4k mod, whatever version it is.
I tried to reinstall 4.7, which was the last one that worked and still giving error when checking files

I had a similar error, when i changed some XMBPLUS files, i don't know what the installer checks in the game folders, but it says that source and target has different sizes O.o, so deleting it makes the installer installs just fine.
 
When you rebuild data base and its loading the % it doesnt msg "Rebuilding database, please wait..." its not important but idk if its a bug or was deleted on purpose

How about changing the bar location a little bit to the left and up?

(I think you probably are using English UK as system language)

if yes it has already been fixed, if not i need to check the strings again

Yes Im using the UK it got the problem when you want to delete a user that the text go all the way out remember? and now in the rebuild data base, check the picture in my last message, how about moving the bar? XD

Soon i'll provide some files to ppl help me to translate ( i don't want to use google translate)

I'll update the file manager and port it to rco's so it can have multi-lingual support.

Yeah send me Spanish (Spain) and Spanish (Latin America) :)

Btw when do you think 5.0 will come out?

You have to teach me how to replace all sounds of ps3 pro mod for the original ones haha

Hm... maybe in a month or so?

Depends on how long the translation procedure will take, i'm currently updating the File Manager

So i'll need to finish some things up and add all the texts strings to the rco so i can ask help from you guys.


The Current Changelog is

- Added: Game Format Folders in Game Column (Requires WebMan).
- Added: BD/DVD Iso Folder in Video Column (Requires WebMan).
- Added: DECR Firmware 0.90.002 and Classic PSN User's Avatars under User's Avatars Duh!.
- Improved: PS3™ 4K Pro Logo and Boost Mode Now Only Appears in The XMB.
- Improved: Boost Mode Now Has Been Translated to All Languages Like The Official PS4™ One.
- Improved: Debug System Update Settings Translated to All Languages.
- Fixed: Video & Game Gameboots Texts Position in Resolutions Below FHD.
- Fixed: User Category Side Menu and Rebuild Database Texts in English UK.

Current Work
- Updating File Manager and Adding it's texts strings to the Rco. (For Multi-lingual support and Hen)

To - Do
- Change the Information Page Animation ( Wish Someone Do a Cool One to help)
- PS4 Style Keyboard ( Wish @Louay can help :P)
- Make the System Settings Animations to React to System Moviments
- Music Wave Visualization to Support Current System Color ( Still deciding)
- Add Online Wallpaper Category.
- Custom Tags via ImageFont.bin
- Bring the OFW 2.80 MUSIC/PHOTOS/VIDEOS format tags back to Newer Firwares ( Only @sandungas and @DeViL303 are capable of it)

Fix Bugs:

Volume option in BD playback.

Download RcoMage

Decompile Mine and The OFW system_plugin.rco.

Drag the OFW system_plugin Sound Folder into Mine and Compile =)

it Only Takes ~3 minutes

About the implementation of New Avatars

This were the User's Avatars included in the OFW 0.90

So i only took the 'turds' ones, because the others are Meh

So I added the following from it:

I extremely dislike the way them "turd" avatars were officially named..." mong "..... as this is an extremely offensive English slang for someone with disabilities/learning difficulties..... that combined with the way they look are in extremely poor taste...
 
Yes, the next 5.0 must be an insane update. I asked when will come out because I have some free days until Feb 1st. About the translations, is there a way to download the 4.85 OFW from Spain, France, UK etc and then extract from there the official translations? Use a VPN or whatever, maybe we can do it so fast. Idc about doing the translation myself, ofc for free haha but maybe for weird tongues like Polish, Russian or whatever. I hope I am able to get the rco of the ofw because I remember when I decrypt the .pup I get stock there I dont get any files, later I have a look and move the bar because when friends are on/off the notifications mixes. Btw what rco (if only its one) is the PS3 clock?
