PS3 PS3 PRO MOD Release/Information Thread

Hi everyone,excellent job! the mod looks great,by far the most complete customization mod I've seen in any console,but I have a question/concern.

Back in 2018 (I think) I installed an older version of the ps3 pro mod,and when I tried to uninstall it to sell my PS3 with OFW some icons that were changed by the mod remained that way and couldn't be reverted back to how they originally were,I loved the mod but that was a complete dealbreaker for me,I always want some way to revert all the changes made by homebrew because I feel safe that way.

Now I got another PS3 and I would like to install this mod again,but I would like to know if when I want to uninstall it again for whatever reason everything will be back to normal? or some modified icons will remain? I would like to know beforehand to avoid any surprises.

The only things that used to remain after uninstalling it are some homebrew custom icons, just installing them again will revert them back.

Actually in the new versions only the spotify icon remains changed, it is a limitation of the actual xai plugin, it only allows two operations at the same time, so i can't revert all the things at once

I also add an automatic xmb refresh after hen beeing enabled to make all remaps to work.

I know many users will complain about it, but i leave one option to disable it ( not recommended)

Not sure if this fits with what you want to achieve, but you could create a custom mini-iso with a bunch of PKG's using the PS3_EXTRA disc structure, and mount it with webman
 
How can i help translating it. Love to change it into dutch =)
And what are the differences between the pro and 4K one.
Using the 4K one tho, cause my tv is 4K. but really dont know what the differences are anyway, a friend of me uses the pro one, but dont really see any difference except the 4K icon and 4K in the game boot screen.
But really, thanks for this mod, i really do like it =)
Ooo and one other thing, im getting error 80710A06 alot when i try to download something, how do i fix this

One way would be to have a net_package_install type link in the category xml, to a pkg.. and then have that pkg swap the same xml so it changes to a link to boot the app after it's installed.

That's cool, but i'm thinking a way like xil apps, shows in the xmb to install and after beeing instaled the same shortcut will launch it, but i think it is not possible with normal xmls
