Oh, Well you could edit the URL for the xil xmls in the sprx, and then you can have any apps appear on the XMB whenever and wherever you want just like singstar, and you can update them remotely by changing the xil xml on the server end.

Its a while since I messed with xil, but I know it is possible as this is how the very first XMBPD worked.

This was all done with xil xmls

And what are the differences between the pro and 4K one.
Using the 4K one tho, cause my tv is 4K. but really dont know what the differences are anyway, a friend of me uses the pro one, but dont really see any difference except the 4K icon and 4K in the game boot screen.

Sup, when do you expect 5.2 will come out? I dont want to find the msg haha

In my screenshot section, I can make screenshot R2+Square but how I send it to USB because it only shows up 2 options: unlink and unlink(folder) if I remember correctly, check it out thanks :)
 
Can you add In-Game Screenshot and Video Recording capabilities? In XMB Screenshot button is not useful. When you press PS button many games are enters the pause menu.

I think Pro version would be best to keep considering this mod adds all kinda stuff to the original appearance and features of the playstation 3.
This mod kinda makes it a Pro version of the original playstation 3 system.
And by that said. the 4K i just a add of a icon that is kinda meaningless. Its fun if u have a 4K TV and you see a 4K icon in your playstation menu. Or you can show off to your friends, like saying look i got a playstation 3 with 4K resolution. But to be true, i think most people dont really care if the 4K icon shows up. And if your playing games on your Playstation you cant see it anyway. And the most people that have a playstation 3 are playing games i guess. So dont really notice the 4K stuff on the playstation, only while keeping the home button pressed or shutdown the system. And one other thing, It can confuse people they actually have a 4K system.

By all that said. Best thing is just to keep the Pro version i think.

This option will be included in V5.2

I'm still waiting for the translators haha

I always used only the ps3 pro, the 4K one is because of the PS4 4K logo, that people liked, so that's why i kept both.

But i prefer only having the PRO, it is easier to maintain

probably can't be improved much. the ps3 only has so many resources available and it varies from game to game and on the xmb.

If someone gets confused on their own system that they have a 4K PS3 then they probably can't figure out how to turn on their televisions/monitors or figure out how to hook up and turn on the PS3.

Just saying what i think.
Regardless, it doesn't has to do anything with turning on a TV or PS3.
