I changed 1 line in category_tv.xml only problem I had so far was youtube and twitch disappeared which can easily be fixed with a PARAM pkg changing AT to AV. The reason I had to do it that way is if I put 2 gamedir entries 1 set would alphabetize and then alphabetize the other set. As I believe most apps in that column are AV (video apps) it's easier to change the few AT (tv apps)

another way to do it would be to put in the second gamedir listing which would temp put them out of place because you could use the installer to change the Params so next time the opened the app it would go into place

All the psp Animations works on PS3

i'm trying some XMB animations LIKE ADDING SOME MOVING THINGS IN THE BACKGROUND WAVE AND IT WORKS

but the XMB click sounds becomes muted =s

Actually dont need any tutorial because is just copy and past

I downloaded the Persona 3 theme for PSP just decompiled system_bg

converted the png to ps3 gim (psp gim show glitches) add to the image tree in system_plugin
Wave in model tree
and the animations in the anim tree
and the target in the page tree

I got the same effect on PS3 i cant upload a video right now because my phone is out of battery and the usb is in my mom's room she is using it

only thing is we need to reposition de x and y values and width and height because larger resolution.

SO PSP THEME LIKES ON PS3 is possible and EASILY PORTED, we only lacked ppl interested in

One strange thing that i noticed is that adding battery pane from psp in the ps3 the clock icon glitches and go off screen.

maybe ps3 have some psp sources in sprx?

Ps3 offers up to 1080p max native resolution.
No 4k support of course..

Oh well I stand corrected actually...
I see a few articles mentioning a 2012 update I wasn't even aware of that would allow to display 4k images. Not video or games though.
Which I find strange because the hdmi controllers are quite old to to support such a thing. I even wonder how the dual screen 1080p RSX can be pushed to display 2160 lines... I must admit I am curious now... but still dubious.

The RPCS3 emulator however recently added 4k support iirc with great results if you care to check.

Ok good to know... I can't even afford a 4k monitor/tv yet, but when I saw the name of this mod is "ps3
4k" I was intrigued to learn how that is possible.

Tbph with you, I am just as intrigued really.
I would never have thought this possible on pre 2010/12 built consoles...

If this type of functionality can be added to old hardware.. maybe there is hope for 4k video at some point. (yea I know I can dream)
