The PS3 people disappeared after the PS4 was unlocked but they forgot that just as the ps3 has PS2 PS1 games, the PS4 will make PS3 games available. If there's going to be "retro" support on PS4, why did everyone jump ship PS3? I think that's disloyal.

Many ps3 developers are still supporting the scene.
Others have returned. Moreover, there are new devs too.

That's normal. The PS3 is officially discontinued since 2016 (2017 in Japan).

I did not play the PS4 or 5. I grew up without a PS3 so after getting a super slim it feels "new" to me. Lots of exclusives I never got to play. A shame I cant get PSP games to emulate correctly on the PS3. Its also easy to emulate the PS3 on a PC if you can wait for your shaders to compile.
