PS3 PS3 Shuts down while playing PS2 game

So everytime i try to play a PS2 pkg game after 15 minutes or 10 my PS3 beeps and the power button begins to change the light colour from green to red then from green to red and eventually after 5 seconds it turns off. Any tips or is my PS3 the problem? I discovered this problem a while ago when i was running 4.89 HEN but i still get this problem with 4.90 HEN.
 
Dump the syscon error codes. CELL could be overheating. You didnt say what model but since youre on HEN I assume its a slim.
