Hello, I need some help here. I recently bought Slim model 3004 for parts. Seller description was: It's turning off after about 20s, no display
First when I got it I opened it up and found the disc drive main cable disconnected, so I decided to remove the disc drive entirely. I powered it on and it displayed but there was no software on the HDD. I tried installing 4.91 and it turned off while installing. Then I decided to try it without hdd, it worked for 1h. I decided to change the HDD, I managed to install the software and even install HEN. Ps3toolset showed errors 14FF and 1701 with 102 days runtime and 1100 boots (I doubt it's bga problem, I tried multiple times applying more pressure but there's no difference). I played 30min gran turismo 6 then turned it off. This morning I turned it on and it turned off after 2min. I thought maybe it's the power supply because one of the metal pins that go into it was bent. I fixed it and it booted and I played gran turismo 6 for 1h, no problems. Then I turned it off for 10min, and when I powered it on and entered gran turismo it turned off. I decided to bent the metal pins slightly thinking maybe it's bad contact. It's been sitting in XMB now for about 2 hours but I'm sure if I turn it off it will do the same thing. Right now I think it's some kind of issue with the power delivery, because when it's not under load it doesn't turn off (all of the times it turned off I tried it without the HDD and it worked).
