PS3 PS3 soft brick?

I was ftp files to my PS3 and playing around with the fan settings on webman. Suddenly my PS3 got a black screen. I restarted the console but now I get no display on safe mode or regular start up. I'm using Av cables & on the latest evil nat CFW. If I try to turn it off it will beep forever & never shut off unless I hold the power button. Please help

Can you tell me what exactly happened webman fan settings won't brick your ps3 unless you did something wrong or maybe you deleted some important files during ftp?

I started to file transfer a game to dev_hdd0/GAMES and connected to webman from my PC. From there I was adjusting the fan speed but I noticed whatever I changed didn't apply. That's when the screen went black. Luckily I managed to fix it by updating the PS3 again.Thanks to devil303 he made a video updating the PS3 without a display. It was a nightmare updating it since the PS3 wouldn't take the update and took me several attempts.
