Hello,
I recently got a super slim to fix that would close power after 2 seconds due to a shorted wifi module so I removed it which allowed the console to finaly boot. I am now usually greeted by a blue screen telling me that the settings are corrupted and to press X to repair them. I can press it but the console then freezes with no progress bar or reboot, it just stays on that screen.
I tried playing around with safe mode to use some of the repair options there which sometimes, I have no idea why. The next reboot will be back to the blue screen.
I tried installing the same firmware on a different drive (though I don't know if this new one works either) but it's still giving me the same problem. Whenever a recovery option says the console will reboot the screen just turns black, nothing happens and I must reboot manually.
The blueray drive will also not work, the lens nevers show signs of life as if it does not detect the lid is closed.
Anyone has seen similar issues? I am thinking maybe both of my drives are defectives and some onboard flash is corrupted? I don't know what was the status of that console prior to that.
Thanks
