PS3 PS3 UPDATE LOOP

Hello, i have some problem, i got PS3 Slim from my friend like before 2 weeks, it was working fine, i tried to update it, then i got in loop, cant exit cant do anything, can i like install Custom FirmWare on flash and format HDD, then do the thing with turning on console(beep thing)? It wasnt Jailbroken before i think, so i thought if i can instant update it to Custom Firmware.
BluRay is problem, i opened console it was unattached. If i can do, can you please send download link like 4.91 NO BD CFW, or like 4.90. please. anything.

Any error numbers?

If bluray is the problem and it was not attached, same error now when you reattach?

You can try installing evilnat 4.91 nobd. I think links should be on main thread for his cfw.

If bluray is working, try either OFW or evilnat standard cfw, cex or pex.

If bluray still not working, and not patched, you can install OFW nobd, iirc. Not actually 100% sure about that one.

edit: BluRay is not working, its discconected from ps3, like literally discconected.

Sorry, but i didnt understand a single word there, whats MFW, OFW, is that like jailbreak same as CFW, and whats bguerville and evilnat.
its my bad, not your bro, problem is me, i dont know.
HMMM, wait, i should format HDD(to NFT) and USB(to FAT32) and then put the file in usb and turn on PS3 in double beep?

Also, is there any way i can go back to my PS3 normal state? like restore system in safe mode or smth like that?

Okay, i just tried your, i formatted HDD to NFT and USB to FAT32, created folder PS3 in usb and in that folder UPDATE, and extracted file from zip file, and named it PS3UPDAT and putted hdd in ps3, and usb, beep 2 times then turn off, then 1 beep and the another and then double beep, i got to menu, i clicked Update Software, it was scanning fir like 10 minutes and said smth Corrupted file, i think its due to file.

Sounds like you may need to get a hardware flasher though and do it that way, or find another BD logic board, which may work to get the firmware installed.

Once you get it booting, you can use BG Toolset and patch it and install a nobd CFW
 
it should be PS3UPDAT.PUP, but I'm not sure if any other changes need to be made to an ofw file. no-bd is a UPL.xml mod and several lv1 and 2 patches iirc. I don't know if it's possible with a fresh ofw, so maybe not.
 
so guys, can someone send direct link to download CFW like 4.91 no blueray drive. im. new to this site i cant understand anything, i need link, i was looking for link for 2 hours, i cant find it, or i see link but i cant see if its like cfw 4.91 no bd.

It won't matter. I was thinking it might install the ofw or cfw 4.91 nobd if it were on 3.55 or lower, dunno. However, you can't install cfw over ofw unless you patch the flash. Look for evilnat 4.91 nobd.
