PS3 PS3 WON'T INSTALL ANY UPDATE OR PLAY CERTAIN GAMES

HELLO GUYS. I RECENTLY BOUGHT A USED PS3 CONSOLE FROM A FRIEND, IT OPERATED OF OFW 4.89, An played only cd since no hen or cfw was installed. then I decided to install evilnat cfw 4.90 into it which worked perfectly, after few days I enjoyed the console until cfw evilnat 4.91 was released then I tried to update to it but couldn't get the update to as when I try to install update via settings and I always get a message saying an "error occurred" then showing some numbers with the error occurred,. Then I tried to update via factory mode but when I inter factory or recovery mode and scroll down to update, I get a message saying "a serious error has occurred contact technical support for assistance" I can't do anything I tried to format the system and restore to default which worked though I lost everything including trophies and HDD games but still yet couldn't do any update and now I can't log to PSN network because it keeps asking me to update my system which I've tried to but can't, but one thing I also noticed was the date and time has to be set manually every time I power on the system and when I try to update my date and time via internet I get a message saying "an error occurred" PLS can anyone help me out

That error means various things, the most common being:
  • A corrupt PUP (from a bad download or during copying to the USB drive).
  • A broken USB drive memory.
  • Using a DEX FW on a CEX target console (or CEX FW on DEX target console).
  • Spoofing of IDPS points to a FW type incompatible with the PUP.

What suggestions?. You have to check all of them and some more.

That error code is very generic in that regard, and nobody can tell for sure what's going on. It's trial and error.
