PS3HEN 3.0.0 Multiman not showing physical discs

Dang, i was looking for this as well. Was hoping to play my import Blu Rays but Multiman won't detect my discs. I also tried Webman because i heard that did the same thing but after some searching that option is only available in the full version. Is there any homebrew that will do this? Or is this a limitation of PS3HEN?

webman mod has a setting to change region.

I already tried webman mod, the setting is not there. From what i read the option is only there for the full version and not the PS3HEN or i overlooked it. But i did not see it.

And my reply to you was before you edited your post, i'm just awaiting moderator approval. lol

I have figured it out everybody. I am so happy right now. It's real simple.
1. Enable Hen
2. Start Multiman
3. Set the region you want in the menu (You have to do this every time you turn on the system, i think resets itself every time you turn the system off)
4. Hit the PS button which brings up the normal menu
5. Go over to Videos (If your Blu-Ray is already in the system it probably won't detect it, just eject it and put it back in)
6. Pick your BD-ROM, it will ask you to quit the game and say yes.

That's it. I've done it 3 times in row and works flawlessly for me.

I had this same problem too. The Blu-ray drive was reading discs just fine in the XMB, playing them flawlessly and installing data files onto the system without issue, but Multiman just couldn't detect discs or, when it occasionally did, would fail in the transfer and throw off data read errors.

The simple answer was laser lens cleaning. I popped one of those laser lens cleaning discs into the drive and ran it a couple of times and now Multiman has no problems detecting discs. I find that it works best if I open Multiman with an empty drive and then add discs while in Multiman. If Multiman chooses to be churlish, I just restart the system again with an empty drive and pop in a disc after booting Multiman, and it works fine.
