I actaully did get the one from brewology also i think its because I had the old hen tool box version when I was on 2.4.5 I believe it was I was still on 4.84 thats why and having to reformat and install hen again and then the hentoolbox I tryed with 3 different hardrives its coming from the patch itself when you reboot. If am correct.

Sorry for double replying but I tried on both 3001a and a 3001b models and 3 different hardrives .so its not our ps3s its the patch itself that triggers the boot loop that eventually freezes hen. Also I think you are getting those issues based on what my old ps3 using rebug did with me when playing after an hour or 2, could be your harddrive. I got a new hardrive and it stopped freezing. Or check the hdd for bad sectors . the more you leave it as is the more it'll drag causing a yellow light to blink when you turn your ps3 on. You could play but freezes would occur during gameplay. Yeah lets just say i dont have that ps3 anymore cause I ignored it for too long. I have 3 spares but yeah that ps3 ylod me and I was too late from saving it even with the new hdd. Also you could have multiple hdds connected to the same ps3 so incase you are looking to have a back up hdd.

I agree with you @DeViL303 it is obsolete now but it did have some cool features but i do agree its not really needed as much now then before when hen alone has some pretty great features now. Probably prefer it more then han /but the 2 hen ps3s i have are more for my nephews and the tool box was esstenial for them but glad it was made and a thing. With out it i dont think hen would be where its at so alot of these features went hend and hend

Idk what all that is about. Hen toolbox works on 4.84 afaik.

If you have issues with hen toolbox on 4.84 it's probably due to changes to 4.84 hen since the toolbox released. I only tested it on hen that was available at the time of release.
 
i just wanted to report that multiman doesnt work on hen 3.0.0
any time i want to boot multiman it just blackscreens and i have to reset the console by unplugging it from power

if you use webman put the fan on manual 35%. if the fan tries to change when opening or closing homebrew it will hang on hen.

use this multiman on hen to avoid hang with external drive:

instead of unplug try pressing power button and wait a little while. it will try to shutdown properly
 
guys ikd what ia the problem latest movian worked with no problem and suddenly it just started blackscreening after boot and freezing ,and i have to press the power button to shut down the ps3.I think it started happening after i updated from 2.4.3 hen to 3.0.0 .tried reinstalling movian multiple versions and they all do the same.pls help need my player back i even paid deank for the plugins

When WebmanMod is loaded in the memory and dinamic fan speed control is activated it causes a black screen in multiman, and when i turn it back to syscom it fixes itself and let me open it, please how can i fix it, i love that option, dinamic fan speed control is so useful (it happens in every console i have, cech-2511a & cech-3001a both with hfw 4.86.1 hen 3.0.1 and the lastest version of Multiman and WebmanMod) also when i open Multiman "my games" folder disapears from xmb and when i close it the folder appears, i now is not that important but i think is something to consider...

Working, possible Issue​
  • I'm on superslim with HFW 4.84, HEN, I installed the Artemis for 4.8 and ran it, it worked, I chosen some cheats for GoW3, ran the game with cheats, enjoyed some minutes of gameplay, then I went back to Artemis to choose different cheats (since I only tried one to check if it was working and all) then I started the game, played for hours, then I decided to take a break, hours later I decided to play more and whenever I try to launch artemAr the console soft locks. (1)

  • Factory service mode
  • CCAPI
  • OtherOS tools
  • QA Toggle tools
  • Dex conversion tools
  • IDPSet
  • Dex related pc tools like TM/Prodg
  • PS2 non encrypted ISO
  • React PSN is not working but some features do work afaik
  • PSNpatch is working but some features do not work.
  • SEN Enabler
  • Other EID key related stuff like reading HDD on PC

I think RSoD Fix will also brick the PS3 HEN, because it changed the VTRM area on flash.

This was from quite awhile ago but, I'll suggest a potential solution. I had this issue a couple times with multiman/webman mod. If I booted webman mod and then came back to multiman shortly after and booted it (multiman) it would shut down and I would have to pull the power cord and then turn PS3 back on. What worked for me was deleting multiman and reinstalling it. It went from 1 in every 4 times locking up to hardly ever going to black screen. Next you can [try at your own risk] and It shouldn't brick it, but you may have to reinstall HEN if it gets to not performing correctly. I don't think you would have any issues though. So, if you have latest webman mod file downloaded you could delete it as well and reinstall. I've done that too and had success. I would try just deleting multiman and reinstall first and see if it fixes the problem. Good Luck!
