PS3 PS3TrophyIsGood Not a valid TROPTRNS.DAT

Yeah, I did try that, and it fixes it locally on the PS3 but if you compare trophies or go on PS4 or PS5 etc then it does not match the times as those systems have daylight savings already on as where on PS3 you have to manually change it each time it comes around in a year.

That makes no sense at all simply because ive looked at a friends platinum time on psn because i have his account and signed into it and it displays the same time on psn and that trophy forum.

However having a list with all trophies done legit except for 2 of them. I edited his last 2 remaining trophies and for some reason it's made all the existing trophies that was earned legit go forward by one hour along with his 2 that he needed so im confused.
did you already synchronized these trophies after editing it? If not, you can use PS3TrophyIsGood to fix the timestamps.

Yeah, I had synched them for him, so his game is 100% as he was missing 2 trophies. I just cannot understand for the life of me why all trophies in the list each trophy got an hour added onto them so say it was earned at 10.30am normally legit now it reads 11.30am and every trophy that happened on.

All because I used this tool it's changed every trophy by an hour which I would guess is the tool don't react correctly with daylight savings, shame this is an issue that cannot be resolved.

I always thought even if a list has been synched and is 100% you can always go back and do a timestamp repair, so how come it does not work? I've edited them at least 10 times done the process, and I've had a corrupted folder 2 times and the other 8 times it's gone through but changed nothing.

It happens because the site uses a different timezone.

If timestamp changed is because it was set to a timestamp before the legit one was got. From my understanding what may have happened was that editing the trophy folder did that to all timestamps and you got all with new timestamp an hour before it was won.
That still is not a problem since if you had 2 playstations and same account on both of them and sync one and after the other, the older timestamp would be assumed as the timestamp

For existing trophies that he had earned, I set the year stamp as 2099 so that it would be so far into the future that the legit earned trophies should never of been changed. Which further proves my point as those existing trophies that were earned way before any editing did not change as 2099 it just forwarded the earned date by an hour which for me is messed up.

I don't want my friend flagged on the PSNP site because of this issue. Surely, anybody with a brain can look on PSN as one time and then another on that site to notice they are different from report for a flag.

Does anybody know if you can change a timestamp from years ago and put it as this year instead? My friend has messed up a game when editing, and it's changed a few stamps that were earned this year and put them as years ago as earned. I'm told an older date cannot be changed to a new date. If this is the case then this is BS as now his account is, 1000000% ruined.

But if you don't want to edit them, why did you edit them? Never do this if you don't want to change timestamps...

Never heard about someone with such problem. Anyway, do you know from where you and your friend downloaded it? Recently I put a lot of validations to avoid users to put timestamps before the last synchronized trophy and, to don't let people edit already synchronized trophies...

Basically if you did not earn the trophies on the actual system itself that you have modded then when you grab your own folder through multiman and put it on my PC and put it in PS3TrophyIsGood it shows up as no trophies have been synched because it reads the local trophy data itself and if it's been synched it will show up as RED, and it's not allowed in the program to change anything.

Now because the system I used did not earn these trophies, and it's not local data, there is no point pulling the actual folder from the system itself. So I was told to download a trophy folder from the web. I was told if the user already has the trophies then you have to put 2099 on the end of them so that way the trophy timestamps won't change and that way when you edit the missing trophies that were not earned those would be the only trophies that get edited.

I think you are using an old version. I fixed this issue of synchronized trophies on other system showing as not synchronized some months ago.

https://github.com/jhonathanc/PS3TrophyIsGood/releases

This fix is also merged to original darkautism version (20/Mar/2021):
https://github.com/darkautism/PS3TrophyIsGood/commit/a39c3f377bc23f1efb378ea6ce1525240aa4a043

I was using the version that you posted on May 19th in this thread. So I assumed that was the latest version. In the version I'm using it has default profile in it and also has the clopy feature and smart copy.

So can the timestamps not be edited back to this year? Or is that not fixable now? What about if using an older version of the tool, would it be possible then?

Do you have the trophy sets? The one that was not edited, and the one, after edit? I will take a look on that.

About change trophies you don't want to edit, don't do this, because changing it (even on older versions that allows you to change already synchronized trophies) will "mark" them to synchronize.

And, avoid to download trophies. You never know how the timestamps of those trophies are. Probably this is the cause of weird timestamps. Always copy your own trophy set, from your PS3.

And also, always check the trophies before sync them. You can do it after rebuild database on PS3.

If you want just to unlock one trophy, without deal with timestamps, you can use Apollo. The unlocked trophies on Apollo will have the actual datetime.

Weird. Could you please send the trophy set you are trying to edit?

I found the solution i had to download Visual C ++
And then download brute force to allow me to change the timestamps

I didn't understand about the "bruteforce", but if works for you, then it's great.
