PS3 PS3Xpad Compatible BT Dongle

So my other dongle stopped working a few days ago. So I set out to find a compatible adapter as last time it took 2-3 before I got a working one. This worked first try and was pretty cheap especially since locating real DS3 pads is getting harder to get done. This even works with the workaround for the V2 DS4 pads. You will need a PC to do this but will enable your pads to function just like a OEM controller.

Thanks for posting this. I have one of these and tried it in my CFW PS3w/ Cobra enabled but it unfortunately wasn't recognized. Also tried an Asus adapter, same result. Using ps3xpad V0.8. Plugin is loaded and my DS4 works with the wired connection.

Are you using it with RPCS3 or your PS3? If the latter, can you please share some additional detail about the above quoted part of your post? Thanks

Using a PS3 and xpad isn't able to use DS4v2 with the light bars on the touch pad. You can set it up on a PC then transfer to the PS3 if you can't find a DS4v1
