PS3XPad not working

I know I followed the directions on setting it up right I put it on hdd0 in plugins and added the location to boot_plugins.txt. But when entering any of the dualshock shortcuts nothing happens. I tried using vsh prx loader and the PS3 beeps once and reboots and loads webman but still nothing happens when I try any of the shortcuts such as Start+Select+Right, but I tried all of them in the read me none of them work. I want to remap some buttons for a few PS3 games so I could use my steering wheel with them, such as GTA V.

I have a Slim on CEX 4.82 REBUG I believe been awhile since I've updated. I don't use Webman I use sman but both use boot_plugins.txt.

I followed this tutorial

Installation

  1. Copy the downloaded "plugins" folder to /dev_hdd0/.
  2. Browse to /dev_hdd0/ and open boot_plugins.txt in a text editor or create it if it doesn't exist. If you are using MAMBA, the file will be called mamba_plugins.txt. Do not create the file inside of the plugins folder.
  3. Add "/dev_hdd0/plugins/ps3xpad/xpad_vsh.sprx" to the file and save.
  4. Reboot your console. You may get a confirmation message "XPAD Loaded (VSH)", but not necessarily.
  • At this point, PS3XPAD may work with your new controller. If not, start your game and wait until it has fully booted, and then press START+SELECT+R3, you should see a confirmation message displaying "XPAD Loaded (GAME)". Your controller may disconnect and reconnect.
The thing is I already have a mayflash adapter and it works with my Xbox 360 steering wheel it makes the PS3 think it's a PS3 controller with the adapter already so I'm not trying to use any different controllers with PS3xpad, just remap buttons.

how did u load the plugin i am on ps3 hen and when i put the plugins file in the plugin file and reboot nothing happens can you help me? i want to play ps3 games that dont support 3rd party controllers

ive seen several people asking about or saying they tried xpad on hen and none have reported that it works. some features wont work because they need debug/dex and that those dont work on hen.

I don't even have HEN I have CFW but still can't get it to work.

i am sorry for saying this almost a month later but i got the plugin working i just was placing the boot_plugins.txt in the plugins folder sry for the inconvenience

i got it working so if u still need help i can help now. so what i was doing wrong was that i was making a new boot_plugins.txt with location of the plugin just know that the boot plugins file should be in the root of the hdd0. sorry if this is too long and i am making it to complicated i just dont want someone to go through what i had to do. if u still need help just message me

I am putting boot_plugins.txt in the root of the hdd0 with the link in it to the plugin doesn't work and apparently I am the only person who cannot use Webman I can't install it and no one will help me.

just to make sure your using the right webman here is a link to the one i am using https://store.brewology.com/ahomebrew.php?brewid=310 to get it installed hold L1 to install when booting the install. if u still need help i can give u my files to place in the folder :)
