Code: 
The site was flagged as malicious/fraudulent and was said to contain malware. We already paid for their security package, which itself reported the site to be clean.

The hosting was removed, as asked by GD support and dns updated for domain, as they said the domains were not the problem. Within 24 hours my entire account was wiped and i was locked out. Meanwhile contacting GD/DCU (Digital Crime Unit) several times before and after, with no resolution.

I mean I orgionally posted it without making an account not saying you couldn't do the same. But I got lots of stuff currently on my plate, from work, parenting, 3d prints, running a console repair service I don't really have time to fight with wiki. I did list my source of your link to your posting about GoDaddy giving us the middle finger

the new site ps3xploit.me is working. so is nopsn.org but the bgtoolset is not up yet
it will hopefully be soon.
 
May I ask why it's not possable (or prefferable) to create a local application that combines these tools and can be downloaded from a github repository? As opposed to web domains suseptable to internet shenanigans.

Also, I take it @bguerville got sack tapped by Murphy's Law after saying he hoped to have bgtoolset merged (redeployed) with *.me by the end of the weekend (last weekend). I chuckeled a bit, expecting somthing to go wrong. Murphy has a way of doing that.

There are a couple reasons why bgtoolset is not open source, available separately, or on GitHub. The main reason is that the creator wants to keep it private for now, and the other reason is there is no non-ssl version of the toolset currently, or one that can run via local swf.

The other tools including HEN, HAN, and all related projects are provided as open source and available on GitHub at https//GitHub.com/PS3Xploit

The bgtoolset will be redeployed using its own domain, but will also be linked via main .me domain, as before.

Do we know if Bguerville would be willing to sell a portion (consider it like shares in a stock) so a person/client kinda pays for a sponsorship tier to host his toolset on a website??? I have a website that i use for holiday lighting but I would keep his toolset hidden (only way to get in is with the url) I'm thinking that for the future we should have a few other domains for the toolset incase the main goes down then the backup(s) can be used as a temp to be used in the meantime. Now its up to the owner of the code ie bguerville for what the cost would be a one time thing or if it would be on a subscription service. Im just thinking that if we have more then one location for the bgtoolset it could prove to be beneficial but theres also the risk of these other sites getting hacked for the code.

Me personally if Bguerville is ok with it I would be willing to host his thing on my site but i would not want to pay some crazy price but i believe that anyone that hosts for him MUST provide all credits for him any payments/donations recieved from that subowners domain should be split 75/25 where the higher % goes to the creator and all subowners must NEVER EVER disclose, modify, or sell the code or copyright laws would be broken, also i believe that a contract would have to be inplace for protections of both the hoster and the owner.

lots of things...dump flash, prepare the ps3 for linux, read syscon logs, and...totally mess up your ps3 if you do not know what you are doing! it is only recommended for advanced users.

(BTW this tool requires you to patch a dump on your PC before writing it to PS3 so it is not as easy as bgtoolset for most users.)

hey coro, could this be used in lew of the bgtoolset? my system was jailbroken once and i already have the dump file saved on my pc when it was stock, i accidently installed the official firmware update and now cant play my backups of games i already legally own (need to use the disks). i just want to beable to install the CFW but need to patch the system first before it will take the cfw (keeps saying corrupted firmware or something) even with the cfw 4.8.8 which is what i installed the first time.

At the end of the day I've currently made piece with having to wait but if you or anyone else in here knows how to patch (safely) the machine then i can finally reinstall my CFW. just kinda sucks having a system that ive converted to diskless and sold the discs.
 
thankyou for not answering my question at all. I clearly asked if this tool could be used inlew of the bgtoolset but instead you decide to tell me what im doing is piracy, if you need any more context about why im appairently pirating the games i made backups locally to the machine, sold the discs to my ex so when my kid is at my place he can play the games at my place and not have to haul a whole system and collection of games. so lets forget about the whole grey area section of why im wanting the toolset back i was jsut wondering if this toolset could be used instead of bgtoolset. i dont care if its for advanced users its a freaking yes or no question.

no one here is allowed to answer any questions that they know would enable piracy. beyond that, i recommended this tool above as an alternative to bgtoolset but warn that it is harder to use correctly (so i already answered your question before you asked).
