I was always on 5.05, but based on what I've heard from others, 9.00 is better, because running the exploit on 11.00 is more a pita.

np. do note that exploits on the ps4 are nothing like the ones on the ps3. almost everything still has to be done by the system itself and its SAMU, which is the security processor. we have to ask nicely for it to decrypt this and that, and it does it for us. lol it stands for Secure Assets Management Unit iirc.

theres also a bnet exploit according to dev wiki there are kernel dumps of the ps4 on the firmware 11.52 and possibly 12.00? they did say the kernel was obtained anyways still 5 more days..

you can dump the kernel through uart, I believe, so this is nothing new.

from what I understand and what I have seen so far the best so far is to go and stay at 9.00. by using an esp I will temporarily have a great convenience. and we wait to see how it will go in the future

Update to 9.00 and follow the USB jailbreak procedure. Or update to 11.00 but only if you have the means of at least jailbreaking it on that firmware, or adding a modchip so the jailbreak is semi permanent.

i try to take the console from 7.51 to 9.00 and it keeps giving me problem nw-31246-6. what should i do? please help

you can look up that error on psdevwiki. they're not always forthcoming, but you can get a general idea of what the error means. good luck.
