I setup remote package sender to my 7.02 PS4. Im on the same network with my PS4 and I know my PS4's IPv4. I enabled HEN and opened Remote Package(pkg) Sender and while it was opened on my screen I go to my computer and tried to send a pkg file servers link to my PS4 then It failed and gave me json return with error message. I tried same with a desktop app of Remote pkg sender and still fails. I tried local http server and remote server to send pkg and still fails. What the heck?
And I tried to search for open ports on my ps4 and I couldnt see any ports openned.

I can't really help too much with this question, since I don't use remote pkg sender, but doesn't the ps4 say which port is being used? when I use ftp, it always says port 1337.

Did you change Port to 8080?

Changing port? Do you mean sending json to ps3ip:8080? Idk my which port opens or is it opens on my ps4. I searched ports with Fing app while Remote Pkg Sender opened but couldnt found anything

I think both 1337 and 8080 are generic ports, but I have to open 1337 for ftp at least in filezilla. it doesn't work otherwise. btw, there's a tutorial on using remote pkg sender for the ps4 on psx place. I always use an external hdd or flash drive, since I don't want to get my ethernet cable out. I haven't seen the author of the tutorial for quite some time, so if you have a problem, he may not respond.

Oh yea. Or can I download a big pkg file to my ps4 and setup it with an other way because remote pkg not worked on me. Idk why. interesting

So Is there any path on system to run a download command on only ps4 system and starting download. I can use ftp but I dont want to keep my ftp client device on state for long time. I mean can I run a command like wget on ps4 and starting download on my ps4 system

there's a pkg download function with debug settings, but I don't really know what it does. I'd say if you can't get remote installer working, use a flash drive or hdd. it doesn't take very long.

Lets just go into some details first.
1) Which Remote Package Sender are you using? Is it FrostySo's or Iref-use?
2) LAN or WIFI connection?
3) Have you setup your IPv4 properly (manual or automatic setup)?
4) If you are using Al-Azif's DNS, have you set it up on PC too?
5) Did you try disabling Firewall?

I use curl to send package and I tried localhost and remote host to send package. Lastly Ps4 got package name and icon etc and tried to start download and when I looked up my screen I saw download failed

Im using Lan with Proxy server

I wouldn't use a proxy unless you're doing something like trying to block update servers. sometimes proxies don't work in certain circumstances or can appear to be unstable.

possibly, there are now dns to block updates I believe. however, I don't use an online connection anymore. I was blocking psn with cc proxy, but it requires the same band, both ps4 and pc. the phat ps4, which I have, is only 2.4GHz. the slim and pro can do 5GHz, and my pc is using 5GHz, so it doesn't work like that. I now use a wifi stick to exploit the system. I don't ever use remote install; instead, I use a flash drive or a 2TB hdd exfat as gpt.

edit: btw, you can also use the update blocker payload.

Yea I applied update disabler payload too and proxy server to make sure. Ps4 downloads updates without asking and very fast. I were almost update my firmware to latest first time I opened my ps4. Anyway. Problem maybe 7.02 package installer not works well on 7.02?

Yea I can use one of that usbs or hdds too but I want completely free and by the way I dont want to keep my computer on for long times. I need a application to setup package automaticly or get(like wget) package and save my plugged usb. I need a hombrew like that

I might've been more helpful if I used remote installer, but don't you have to leave your computer on if you're blocking psn access via a proxy? you won't be able to connect to the internet if the proxy isn't responding or is down.
