PS2 PSBBN Definitive Project 4.2

No, neither...!
OSDmenu (and variants) does it in RAM!

Ok, so the PS2 won't save it itself as a result / side effect during that boot session?

If I edit the settings myself from the osd they'll take president over osdmenu hacked ram during that current session until it's reset again by osdmenu on the next boot? similair to cheat engine or reset to it's default values if I temp disable osdmenu?

Yes, on boot, OSDMenu settings take precedence over changed you made manually in system settings.

Thanks for your feedback! I was able to improve the movie installer:
  • The bitrate now adapts to movie length (shorter = higher quality).
  • Movies up to 2h15m can now be installed.
✅ Return of the Jedi – 2h12m
❌ The Lord of the Rings – 2h58m

Quick question.
Did you test this on a PSX ?
No. I don't see why anyone would want PSBBN on the PSX. Even if it were possible, you'd lose the XMB and everything that makes the PSX unique. In the future, I'd love to get a version of my game, music, and movie installers working on the PSX, but that would require the HDD encryption being cracked first.
