PSN on 4.84 CFW

For the first time ever, I have decided to go online but it seems like SEN Enabler is only for 4.83 CFW's...
PSN Patch is from 2017 soo what am I supposed to use, or is it impossible to go online on 4.84?
Rebug D-REX BTW

Because, as I said, SEN Enabler doesn't support 4.84 and PSN Patch is from 2017, so it can't be up-to-date :)
It doesn't matter if I switch to CEX :)

@aldostools Thank you for taking the time to push the homebrew scene forward and to answer so many questions on these forums.

As far as I undertstand.
If you are on 4.84 D-Rex than just spoof your IDPS to CEX within the PSNPatch. You edit the Default.cfg file and save it as psnpatch.cfg. This way you can remain on a DEX system and make it look like you are on CEX. If you switch to CEX from DEX you won't need to Spoof your IDPS before going online.

The last update that @kokotonix made to PSN patch was to make it firmware independant. Removing the need for an update everytime a new ofw comes out. It still functions as it should which is deleting history and removing syscalls.

You are 100% correct !

There were no updates to PSNPATCH because they were not needed.
PSNPATCH is (still) firmware independent.

Why is PSNPATCH firmware independent ?
Because it "searches" for what must be changed in the running firmware. It does not care about versions or fixed memory offsets.

[edit] Note that this is only valid for CEX

So that means I can't use it on DEX?
EDIT: DEX or not? o_O
Please tell me

Is this how I am supposed to do? o_O

Ok, but here's the deal, I don't want to go to CEX cause when I went to DEX all my trophies got corrupted. Every game would freeze at loading trophies screens. I had to delete all trophies to get it to work again :(
Now I am afraid the same thing will happen if I go to CEX from DEX :(

I switched to CEX, easy peasy, trophies got f*cked as I thought they would be :(
Although I backed them all up so no problem there really.
I just created a new PSN, so is there anyone that wanna play? I have no fri3nds :( that still play PS3 :(

What games do you play?

I play the games that don't need updates, since I haven't had the need to update, none of my games are updated and I have limited data that I don't wanna waste on updates.
So so far these are the games that I can play without updates:
Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012 (This was a mess with people just ramming each other)
Castle Crashers (Found no games)
Bomberman Ultra (Found no games either)
FUEL (Servers down since GameSpy shut down in 2014?)
GT6 (Servers went down last year :()
Bunch more that I haven't tested yet...
What games do you play then?

I usually play single player RPG's like Skyrim, Fallout, Dark Souls, Demons Souls ect. I tend to stay away from Multiplayer because 99% of my friends play on PS4 and PC now but I used to play MGS4 a lot back in the day and Dark Souls PvP lol

Well, what's your PSN then? Maybe we have some games in common that we can play :)

I'm not trying to be a jerk here, but only share PSN_ID over PM as a self protection thing.
If big bad sony comes in and sees an id in one of these forums, what is to stop them from adding it to next ban wave?

I'm not saying that it has happened before, or even will happen, but why take the risk?
I make careful efforts to make sure that my PSN name isn't associated with any account, etc for this very purpose.

Call it paranoid if you want, I call it careful. It's kind of like if you were to trespass onto someone's property, the last thing you want to do is leave your identification card for them to point to you later. :)
