1) HIDING COBRA
Do the stealth 3 extensions automatically turn on when i run PSN patch 4.70.07 on Rebug Cobra CFW (4.70) or do these need to be separately installed?
2) CFW SPOOFING
how to spoof safely to 4.75 (or latest FW)?
I read rebug toolbox has to be in rebug mode for best compatibility with psn patch but when i use my third party spoofer it needs to be in NORMAL mode and if i don't spoof my firmware isnt high enough to get on PSN.
Am I safe to be in NORMAL mode in toolbox?
or should i somehow spoof to 4.75 (or whatever current version FW maybe at the time) SAFELY with Psn patch via cfg file or something else?
3) WEBMAN
Can i use webman to play games and does it follow the same rules as using a backup manager for loading games
(like mount the game offline before disabling CFW syscalls)?
Webman has the option of mounting the last game played at boot is this okay to use with psn patch?
Is there any particular options i should set or settings I cannot use with PSN patch?
1) stealth 3 cobra extensions will be automatically used by psnpatch when possible.
If not, psnpatch will choose the best "cfw disabling" method for the current running system .
Additionally, I recommend you use the psnpatch plugin which allows cfw disabling from the XMB and locks PSN access at boot time - while CFW is not disabled.
2) rebug mode is advisable to be used with psnpatch. Some functions , like controlling and updating webman from psnpatch, will properly work in that mode only.
But the major functions should work ok in normal mode - I'm sorry, but you'll have to test them.
Currently psnpatch does not offer cfw version spoofing
In fact, I do not recommend the use of versions spoofers when there are true 4.75 cfw available at the moment.
3) there are no special limitation for webman usage with psnpatch, apart of not using webman "disable syscalls" function when using psnpatch.
Psnpatch disables all cfw syscalls - webman disables just some and only partially and not properly recovering the syscalls table.
I recommend you use the webman light version included with psnpatch (install it from the toolbox menu in psnpatch).
Note:
Hopefully all these issues should be described in the FAQS and DOCS included in the official PSNPATCH distribution available at psx-place.
