My PSP 1001, Motherboard: TA-081v2 will not boot into DCV8. however 1.50 Downgrader, and DC 3&4/ELF Menu works, However DCV5, V7, V8, Time Machine V0.1, and XGEN Installer does not. I've gone to multiple programs to format the 4GB Micro SD Card which is SanDisk Branded to a MMS and i placed into a Micro SD Memory Stick Duo Adapter (which i got from Temu) i when i placed the Pandora's Battery into the PSP and Hold down a button, the screen comes on, and the memory stick light blinks 3 times and stops. And my PSP wont boot into service mode. if anyone out there have files from a Magic Memory Stick (Created in a Modded PSP and From a Sony Branded Memory Stick or Micro SD Card in a MS Adapter that works.) please let me know so that i can bring my psp back to life! (The Programs i run are: PSP Grader, and PSP Pandora Deluxe V3.3 on Windows)

Sounds to me like you don't have your mms set up properly. If your pandora battery is getting you to service mode then it has to be recovery file related or something going on with the memory stick itself.
It's been so long since I messed with this stuff maybe someone with a fresher memory can help. Do you have another memory stick? Is it magic gate? If that is not an option redo your memory stick with a fresh format, make sure everything is located exactly where it needs to be file structure wise on the memory stick. Not to send you away from here but if our resources section doesn't have what you need. You can find more resources related to psp over at wololo.net.

If you are still stuck I can dig out an old psp and dump the memory stick for you to see if I can find the files but more importantly exactly how the file structure is on the card. Good thing is that you have a 1001 model. Those things are like tanks and completely fixable.

i like that idea, and also, this is the only memory stick that i have. i hope you import the files to me so i can fix it. thank you in advance.

I got you buddy. I will have time this weekend to dig out my psp collection and find what you need. Where are you located by chance? I'll shoot you a msg here. Should be small enough to host here. Some time back another mod and I had updated the psp resource section. Have you tried there?

hello! i just got my psp up and running! i just find out that the Sandisk micro sd card that i was using is the culprit for not booting into recovery mode, so i bought a 512 MB Micro SD Card of Temu, set up everything and power it on, and into my surprise, it booted into recovery mode! so now i can use my psp again!
