Is it just me or is the compatibility not that great. At least compared to the new PS1/PSX emu?
I tried a few games. Most of them crash immediately like Soul Calibur - Broken Destiny. Some games like Virtua Tennis 3 run but crash later on after the player selection screen.

Burnout Dominator is working but has some audio glitches. Legends is crashing for me.
It seems that Power Stone is the best working title at the moment...?

  • Lego harry potter year 1-4: Works, but in game sound dissappears suddenly
  • Ben 10 protector of earth: Works till the menu, then freezes when pressing new game/continue.
  • Crash titans: black screen
  • NFS most wanted: Crashes game

This was an issue with the PSP EMU on PS3. Found a workaround years ago. I grabbed a save off the internet, infact got it from GameFaqs. Anyhow using the XMB I was able to copy a save off the XMB. Now I have not gotten my PS4 out to test but MAYBE this may help.
 
  • Monster Hunter Portable 3rd: Error. Does not open.
  • Monster Hunter Freedom United: Freezes in the middle of the unskiple cutscene, maybe playeble with a save from after the cutscene.
  • Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker: Error after the menu, not playable.
  • Metal Gear Solid Acid 2: Error after the menu, not playable.
  • Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Game runs, no voice acting and music in the cutscenes, framedrops but I think it's because of the anti aliasing and fps unlock ( the menu was strangely fast, that makes me believe that it does have a fps unlock ). I looking for a way to chance the controls, so the second analog stick can be used for the camera and a way to put the 30fps hack on the game, but idk how. Gameplay video:
  • Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus: Same way as the normal game, slowdowns, fps is unlocked I think (it's very noticible in stage 2), etc. MGSPO+ gameplay video:

I tested 3 games so far:
  • Mortal Kombat - Unchained (USA) (v1.03); Crashes upon startup
  • Tekken - Dark Resurrection (USA) (En,Fr,De,Es,It); Crashes after the Bandai Namco logo, might be related to a save not being present
  • Dante's Inferno (USA) (v1.01); It launches and plays but with massive slowdown and crackling audio. Saves work fine, both from the emulator and in-game.
Should we bother testing different regions as well, or is that not necessary? Dante's Inferno is one weird game that is locked to 44FPS for example.

not a bad idea until more is known.
No one is currently certain why one boots and not the other.
So more information the better to rule out things

Both psp fpkg and psp gui crash and stop working after i start the creat fpkg process.any ideas guys
am on old laptop win7.
 
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. First Test!
After laggy logos, was think it not will run good, but as i see opennig, was surprised! Game run very worthy on PS4!
Also add some FiX for more FPS!

Ultraman Fighting Evolution 0
Works but there's some HUD / UI transparency issue, but the fight gameplay works flawlessly

Hatsune Miku Project Diva
Works but there's weird interval UI missing for 0.1 seconds and appear back every 5-6 seconds, on both main menu and during gameplay (where the score etc is showing)

Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd
Boot up but when choosing new game, straight up crash

Hatsune Miku Project Diva Extend
Boot up but when choosing new game, straight up crash

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Portable
Works and play fine

Harvest Moon Boys and Girls
Boot up but after choosing which version to play (boy or girl), the game stuck with now loading screen but it does play the main menu sound, choosing new game or continue sound, and so on when pressing the button on controller

Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3
Boot up but when choosing new game, controller doesn't work, can't select which character to choose, and can't proceed the game, same issue as if playing on PPSSPP
