PSP loader on CFW 4.89?

I have 4.89.1 HFW on an early PS3 slim that had 4.89.

HEN and package loader are working fine.

Multiman can load PS1 and PS2 games perfectly fine.

PSP keeps complaining there's no loader. So I installed 2 loaders.
But I keep getting the same error.

Is it possible to use PSP loader on 4.89.1 HFW? Or do you need 4.88 firmware?

Thanks!

There are 2 PSP Launchers: Minis (PSPM66820) and Remasters (PSPC66820)

MultiMAN uses only the PSP Remasters Launcher (PSPC66820)
webMAN MOD supports both.

If you only installed Minis (PSPM66820), multiMAN will report the error.

Hmm. I've installed both but I'll try to remove one and reinstall the correct one.

But as long as multiman and PSP Remasters Launcher is on the system, nothing else should be needed, right? No other "hacks"?

I must be doing something wrong. I have the correct PSP launcher now installed.

When I launch a PSP game, I still get an error to exit to XMB and install a PSP launcher.

Then I get this error:

The launcher in that link has the id PSPM66820.

This one has the id PSPC66820 supported by multiMAN.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is a PS3 game (PS3ISO).

Assassin's Creed Bloodlines is a PSP game, but according to the compatibility list this game starts and comes to a "Loading..." screen.. and freezes there. Worked further as Remaster but in game Desmond glitches real bad, so it is unplayable.

Thanks for all the replies.

I understand that. I'm just trying to get "any PSP game" to load before I convert and copy them all over. This should at least load?

How do you pretend to load a PS3 game with the PSP emulator?

Put PS3 games in ISO format in /PS3ISO folder, PSP games in /PSPISO and PS3 games in JB folder format in /GAMES.

Sorry, I think something has been lost in translation between us. The game I'm attempting to load is a PSP game. I have no PS3 ISOs. However, I do see what you mean. I don't see that game in a PSP game list. I'll try another iso.

Thanks!

I just attempted with Loco Roco 2 and got the same results.

There's got to be something wrong with my setup.

Try with webMAN MOD or IRISMAN... Make sure that the .ISO is copied to /dev_hdd0/PSPISO or /dev_usb000/PSPISO

It will not work if the game is CSO. For PBP or CSO, you have to convert them to ISO.

The game is launched through PSP Launcher, not through the blue disc on XMB.

Also try creating and activating a PSN user...

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is a PS3 game (PS3ISO). That is the name that appears in the screenshot that you posted. You're trying to load it from the folder PSPISO.

Anyway I think I cannot express myself in English... it is not my native language. I'll let others answer you.

Thanks for the response again. I'll be back at my house next week to test this out. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks!
