PS3 PSV Save Converter released

thanks for the help, I'll send a message

you can also try to upload the files to mediafire.com or zippyshare.com . Those are raw save files, right? no .MCS, PSX format, etc

Edit: I tried sending a PM but I've got "You may not start a conversation with the following recipients: pinky."

then, I can't help. it's so damn frustrating to be stripped of so many things on this site when I've given so much help across all systems. I'm seriously considering leaving and just giving all info and everything to temp instead.

well, I'm signing out for good now. I was going to continue donating to various developers, but I don't want to be in a place where I'm not wanted. I will not share anymore information nor help anyone with any system on here again. I thought you could've used a ps4 person, but I guess I was wrong about that too. goodbye all. I've found better friends on temp, far better. even got a ps5, brand new, at cost (paid the friend today in fact), and I should have it in a few days. on here, I'm stripped of everything, so I won't bother anymore.

@bucanero , I decided to just zip up three of my multi-block saves. two are two blocks; one is three blocks. I'll just post it here, but it's the last thing I'll do for this site. I'm only doing this, because you did nothing wrong to me. I blame cards for what's happened. btw, these are raw saves like you wanted:

thanks, with those ps1 saves I should be able to fix the PS1 to PSV conversion issue.
(note to self: never have hard-coded values in your code, even if "all the files seem to use 1 block")

next, I need to merge these changes to Apollo too.

I reviewed Apollo, and the fix was already there! :D hahahah
I think that at some point I did the right thing in Apollo, but I never updated the PSV converter.

If I could, all these generic things should be moved to a platform-independent library, so they could be used anywhere... too bad I don't have time for it

Will this converter work the other way? I have some save files on a VM2 on PS3 that I would like to use with OPL on my PS2. On PS2 the saves are folders and on PS3 the saves are PSV. If not, do you have any ideas on how I might be able to accomplish this task?

Update: Got it figured out. I used PSVExporter to extract the PSV files, then was able to mount the PS2's VMC with LaunchElf and copy the files over. Tested and worked... from PS3 VMC to PS2 VMC.

Yes, the PSV Save Converter can also extract a ps2 save out of the .PSV file. You can use the converter and get a standard .psu file that you can import with uLaunchElf .
