Come on friends, if you can help me, I appreciate it.
I have 3 PSXs desr, being 1 loads the hdd and does not show the menu; the other only appears on the psx screen and remains black screen; and the last one, neither turns on, that is, it must be the energy source.
I got two HDDs of the model 5000 to 5500 exactly the same as the seagate ST3160022ACE 160 gb. According to https://www.savagemessiahzine.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=944435, the hdd can be replaced with the original ps2 hdd or an official HDD from another PSX. Would installing these hdd I bought, would it work?
Second, what would be a second option in the failure of this? I was thinking about unlocking a working psx, and putting the PSX 1.31v repair DVD to fix the other hdd I have. Or, isolate the bad blocks from them, and try to fix them again on the console.
Will it be possible to copy the data from the psx hdd and play it on another hdd identical to the psx?
