I need help, or someone points me to the right direction.
I got a PSX 7100, the unit turns on I can see the splash psx screen but then just black screen and the system hangs, but still green light, but no orange HDD reading light.
At first I thought that I have a foulty HDD, but I tested in another console a 7000 one that works, and the HDD from the 7100 worked great, with all the files intact and XMB navigation.
I put the other HDD from the 7000 in the 7100 and was the same behavior as with the original HDD, no HDD led reading, black screen, but solid green led.
So I have a working unit with a working HDD, but for some reason is not booting correctly.
I already clean everything, reseat flex cables, use other flex cables and its always the same behavior.
Maybe there is something wrong in the PCB but I dont know what is because everything looks fine.
