PSX Icon Pack for HDDOSD

I'm happy to finally release this massive icon pack for HDDOSD. Includes over 150 PSX icons for Popstarter games as well as a template to use in blender to make your own.

Got any requests? I'll be releasing more icon packs in the future

@SpaceCoyote love these icons. I've been trying to convert your .obj templates to memory card icons with PS2 IconSys but I keep ending up with a deformed icon. How did you convert them?

@Berion that sounds like the ticket! Can you give me a link or something? I'm finding it incredibly hard to find anything about creating 3D memory card icons online.

I've checked and probably and unfortunately mislead it with 3DSMax plugin. But I'm sure I saw somewhere Blender plugin. :/

I have only those which You can find in icon tools category in Windows section:

Thanks for the help. Your comment actually lead me in the right direction and I found that Milkshape 3D has a PS2 icon importer/exporter and it works great! Milkshape PS2 Icon Importer/Exporter | PS2 Save Tools

Now that you're able to run the full version of OPL from the browser with DS3 support and as the browser is quite snappy with a SSD I thought I'd make some 3D icons of PS2 game cases. I've made a few already.

That is exactly what I used

Don't know if this is the best place to ask, but is the milkshape plugin suppose to also import the animation frames? I can only seem to be able to import the 3D model plus texture and nothing else. I would like to use the icons for a little project of mine and the only way that i am able to see correct icon with the animation is in the PS2 save builder.

A tutorial on this would be great since I've never use blender before... specifically how to add the cover art to the model. I have quite a few US covers I'd like to use.

Can and has this been done/automated via a script? @GDX

If the answer is "Yes!", this could help MASSIVELY increasing the database, IMO!

Yes, it's possible to do it with a script. I tried, but ps2iconsys, which converts icons to the PS2 format, flips them all upside down. I don't really know the reason.
