Hello
I'm having trouble installing PSX games on the PS3. I tried with ISO files and with Bin/Cue files but no matter where I copy them to, nothing is recognized. Then I have another question about the copying process. Why are some games recognized and titled correctly and some only have a long number? If I change this in the game name you can no longer start the ISO.Maybe there is also German help.
Greetings
Martin

PS1 games are all bin/cue, I think they can't even be in ISO format due to the use of MODE2/2352 for data tracks. Make sure you don't rename the bin file because the cue file points to it (or you can open the cue file with notepad and change it to whatever).
The bin/cue files should both go into the PSXISO directory, then do a game list refresh using webMAN MOD.

That's exactly what doesn't work. I put both files in PSXISO and it doesn't start.
Does it appear in webMAN MOD's web interface?
Try opening the cue file in notepad and verify that the name of the bin file specified there is correct.
Is it a problem with one specific game or PS1 games in general (try another game)? If it's just that one game does it run from the disc?

No, nothing is displayed, regardless of whether ISO or BIN/CUE
The only game that works 100% so far and also shows the name automatically is Resident Evi DC. Siphon filter doesn't have a name, it just has a long number, when I try to change the name in Multiman I get an error message.I also tried it with BIN/ISO s from the internet

We will not help you with pirated games. Please use only games you legally own.
Does it work when you use a physical original PS1 discs? That'll tell us whether it's an issue with the ISO mounting or the emulator itself.

I just wanted to try it with this, and I have Siphon filter and this is what it looks like when I create my CD as an ISO with Multiman https://www.directupload.eu/file/d/8573/jukkceso_jpg.htm How can I change the name? and how do you do that with 2 CDs, I have RE 2 and Chase the Express, Siphon Filter 2?
Let me ask you again - Do the games work properly when you insert a physical, original PS1 disc and play directly from the disc?

Regarding that image - That's what happens if you copy the files from a PS1 (or PS2) disc to your PC and then create an ISO from those files. It doesn't work that way. PlayStation discs are mastered in a special format and if you create an ISO from extracted files the PS3 will just see it as a data disc. You need to create an image directly from the original disc. If you're using a PC (very recommended) you can use ImgBurn for that. In the case of PS1 discs it should not let you create ISO, only BIN/CUE. If it lets you create ISO then something's wrong with the disc.

Jepp the physical, original PS1 disc work after Copy sorry only the only the name is strange. This is how MuliMan creates the ISO on my PS3, this is not a PC ISO!!

It is preferable to rip PS1 and PS2 discs on a PC rather than on the PS3.

The bin/cue files should both go into the PSXISO directory, then do a game list refresh using webMAN MOD.

The CUE/BIN files can be renamed with any File Manager like IRISMAN, multiMAN, ManaGunZ or webMAN MOD.

The unique requirement is that both files should have the exact file name. The file names in the Cuesheet are ignored. Only the track times are used to identify the start sector of each track. The cuesheet is optional, but many PS1 games don't work without one.

The file extension should be CUE/BIN or cue/bin. Not Cue/Bin. They can also have ISO or iso file extension.

Why are file names in the CUE ignored? That's against the standard...
