I'm not on the forum discord, what happened that he was down? maintenance, malicious attack?

I was worried at first because I thought that the server license might have ended or an attack had taken place that brought the site down, but I was still able to enter but with an error message, which made me more relieved because it could be something 'simpler'.

Yes, as you guys see psx-place is back online, was nothing major just needed some cleanup a bit and some simple fixing.
Time was the biggest issue in getting it resolved, issue's usually have poor timing.

I think what you meant is one time phone verification that you're not a bot.

One time or every time doesn't really matter, it forcing users to be mark, permanently loosing privacy. It is not necessary for anything from technical point of view. I hate that. And back in the days when I'm using Discord on Windows, on every login I must verify myself by code sending via email. Annoying, unhandy and just evil.

That's weird. I guess your discord account is newer than mine? Mine was created in 2016, and I've never had to provide a phone number for verification even while using a VPN / going abroad physically and switching networks.

Yes, I've create it around time when psx-place got official (?) channel on it and @TnA stalking me to look there.

Psx-place.com has it's own Discord.
The PS2-Scene-Discord is not directly related to PSX-Place and limited to PS2-Stuff whereas the PSX-Place Discord is multi-console.
