QA Tools not working? firmware 4.89, HEN

Hi all. I promised I googled and youtubed for this before posting here.
I'm certain it's been asked. I just couldn't find it.

I'm trying to downgrade fro, 4.89 to 4.88 to use CFW.
I'm trying these steps:
4.89.1 HFW->QA Toggle->4.88.1HFW->4.882 CFW

But I must be doing something wrong or not understanding something.

I got 4.89.1 HFW installed.
I got HEN and QA Toggle installed.

When I run QA Toggle, it gives a 80010017 error
When I run HEN then QA Toggle it gets stuck on the black screen with the green power light still on. Totally frozen. I need to unplug power to reboot...

Do I need QA Toggle enabled to install 4.88.1HFW? If so, can you think of another way to do it or know what I might be doing wrong?

It's not possible to toggle the flags on HEN.

To downgrade you'll need a hardware flasher or wait until a new toolset version is released
