At some point you could legally download PS2 games in .pkg format from the Sony PS store. Right now one has to rip the original PS2 disc to create an .iso file.
Situation 1: Assume Max Payne 1 was purchased from PS store legally and installed on a Slim/Superslim PS3 some time ago.
Situation 2: Max Payne 1 could also be ripped from an actual PS2 disc to an .iso file for CFW or a .pkg file for HEN using PS2_Classics_GUI. (on a Slim/Superslim)
In both cases the game is run by the PS2 Classics Emulator on a Slim/Superslim PS3 ?
Is the game compatibility the same for both situations on a Slim/Superslim? Do games run identically in both situations on a Slim/Superslim ?
Many Thanks
