It says you can't play online with the PS4. There is no way. From what I've read, PSN servers are constantly searching for Homebrew applications and servers can immediately catch a small change in games. Also in the older version we can't get into PSN. There is no way. For example, if you spoof updates with a proxy like we did on PS3, or if the proxy doesn't work, let's try something soft and delete homebrews before playing online.

probably certificates. we couldn't log on to psn with the ps3 even with a spoof due to them. they have the passphrase for psn. sony eventually gave up, since we can hack any ps3 update pup.
 
So you're saying that each version has a new certificate for the PSN and the old PS4 certificates are being rejected.

I may have changed my logic a little bit since I didn't quite understand what you meant. If I'm thinking right, we need certificates for the new version. When we take into account that the new version is not exploits. The PS4's PUP files may have something to do with the certificate.
 
well, that's just a guess. it's unlikely current firmware will ever be exploitable, not after the bounty thing. sony can patch exploits and award hackers money. it's a win/win I guess. plus, a lot of hackers don't want people cheating online. that's destroyed online for a lot of systems. personally, I don't think a hacked or exploited system needs to be online. it's not fair to legit users. you have to accept the bad with the good for hacking your system. with the switch, you'll almost certainly be banned unless you use emunand and no backups online. that's not so feasible with the ps4 since around 15 partitions are on the hdd. difference being that you have to have a hard drive with the ps4; you don't have to have a micro sd card for the switch to function. the ps4 relies on it which would make emunand difficult.
 
You are right, but it's worth a try. So considering the get banned, are there any plate-like things like PSID in here? So if I eat ban, can I open a new PSN account and go online after a few number changes?
 
afaik, you can't even dump the idps of a ps4 let alone change it. there's currently no need to. the vita -- you can dump the idps, but you can't change it I believe. the ps4 and the vita have a lot in common with the same lead designer, Mark Cerny. he's also the architect of the ps5.
 
both the vita and the ps4 use suprx/skprx and pfs. I wonder if the ps5 will but also another layer of security. pfs is supposed to encrypt every file not just sprx and selfs.
