[Question]transfer games to ISO format to internal HDD with HEN 2.3.1

Anyone know how to convert games in "JB" folder format to ISO format and put it in the PS3 HDD?

I currently have HEN 2.3.1 and multiMAN

You can use MultiMAN to convert them directly on your HDD. Find your JB folder game in the games menu of MultiMAN, press triangle on the game to open up the side menu and you will see "Convert to ISO" at the bottom of this menu. When its converted make sure its in the folder PS3ISO on the interanl HDD and your done.

You can also use any of the other Backup Managers to do this as well.

The longer way to do it is to transfer the game to your PC, either via FTP or copied to an external HDD, and use PS3 ISO Tools to do this on your PC then once done either FTP or transfer to HDD, and put them in the PS3ISO folder on your PS3's internal HDD.

you can run across some incompatibilities in multiman when converting to iso because it's using genps3iso which is known not to work all the time (usually it does).irisman uses makeps3iso which is most reliable tool there is.you can also use it on the pc.

That is generally for 1 - 2% of all disc based PS3 games so a very small fraction of them, MultiMAN works fine 99% of the time and its not even really heard of games it don't work with. From what remember its ports from other things> one of the sonic games is like this and some jap games.

i had issues with mgs4 and splinter cell hd collection iso's created with genps3iso,no problems whatsoever with makeps3iso,not even once.and,like i've said,you can use it on the pc.
