PS3 Questions about bricked console.

Hello!

So I unfortunately bricked my PS3 when converting from dex to cex (I tried because being on dex wouldn't allow me to connect to PSN). I can't post a link to the video but it makes like 6 beeps on startup kinda sounding like an alarm.

Anyway I realized I was going to have to reflash my NOR. Thankfully I have a backup of my original dump file from before I jailbroke my ps3 and I verified it with ps3dumpchecker.

I guess my main question is with E3 flasher would I still have to solder that one wire (TRISTATE to GND)? Or would I just be able to connect the flasher and flash the old dump back on there?

This can be closed please. I did some extra research since I sadly missed the point of the soldered wire and didn't realize the e3 flasher was powered by the system itself so the solder is needed since it turns off after the beeps. Sorry and Thank you!
