PS3 Rainbox Six Vegas freezes on "Caching Game Information"

Hello,

I'm hoping someone here can provide guidance on failed launches of Rainbox Six Vegas, during launch it reaches a screen "Caching Game Information" then hangs indefinitely on it.

I've tried multiple releases of the game:
- BLUS30018 (redump ISO)
- BLES00054 (JB folders)

I've also tried launching via webmanMod and multiManMod to no avail.

To note, these have been launches from the internal HDD.

Has anyone expereienced this before and aware of a fix? I've read similiar issues are fixed on Assassins creed games by copying a file somewhere onto the internal HDD?
 
Cheers for the advice kardorna2. I didn't rebuild the ISO manually but your post put me onto the Vimm archives, which as far as I'm aware come pre-patched with correct IRDs - even with the correct IRD the issue persisted.

I did manage to workaround this issue. To do so, I had to install Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent / Rainbow Six Vegas Double Pack [ BLES-01591].

Interstingly, there are no boot issues with Rainbox Six Vegas when launched via the double pack.
